South Pass Chapter #1867 – Charter Doins
Join the South Pass Chapter #1867 of the Ancient & Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus® for
the CHARTER DOIN’S at the South Pass Camp 1867:
When: August 5th-7th, 2022 (6027)
(early camping available Wednesday, August 3rd @ 8AM. Check the Facebook page for updates)
Where: Camp 1867 – 42.531060, -108.760272
We will be plaquing the city of South Pass City, Wy as the home of Wyoming’s first and largest Gold Rush. The dedication will take place at a time yet to be determined. Alcohol is discouraged at the dedication site.
The Clampsite is at the official South Pass Camp 1867, near an old Atlantic City Iron Mine about 7 miles from the dedication and about 30 miles from Lander, Wy. PBCs are to be turned over to the Imperturbable Hangman Ed “Psychopedia” Duncan, in good condition at 7 am Saturday morning so he can guide them through the proceedings of the order.
Grub will be slaughtered and prepped by Jayson “Rambone” Mitchell. 4 Meals are included with your rub and will include the Clamp Chef’s Famous Wyoming Man Meat and his Secret Sauce.
Grand Council rules apply. No Guns, Dogs, Long Knives, Bad Attitudes, or Women. Anyone in violation will be asked to leave and escorted off the premises by the property owner (Clamper)

Coming from doc Maynard up in washington….what’s a good airport to fly into
Depends on the airline I suppose. The closest airports are Rock Springs (RKS) and Riverton (RIW), but you’ll have to fly through Denver first with United. You may also look into Salt Lake City (SLC) and Jackson Hole (JAC), but make sure you have a ride into the doins site, as they are a couple of hours out.

I am willing to do a road trip in the new Dually if any brothers want to share cost of driving. Fuel is outrageous.

Will fires be allowed? I have an above ground free standing fire pit.
We’re hoping so, but won’t really know for sure until we get closer. We also plan on using our 2 large (4-6 foot wide) fire-pits too.

We had extended it to June 28th, but I’ll be reporting our head count to the chapter on July 3rd. If you decide you’re coming and want to pre-pay before then, let me know.
I assume that Redshirts cannot prepay past the June 1, 2022 deadline. I am not a PBC or a Retread. Should I just wait till the event, or is there a box to check for a pre-event but late check in?

Hello Brothers, I know it’s pass the Pre-Pay date, But i just got notice from 2 brothers that they are able to attend last minute, Is there any possible way to get them the Pre-pay rates ?
I prepaid but at the full price like the site allowed me to and I’m fine with that. I hope that didn’t cause any issues for you guys.
